Shinzo Abe, Ex-Japanese Prime Minister, Collapses; Gunshots Heard at Scene


Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe collapsed throughout a speech in western Japan after what seemed like gunshots had been heard, public broadcaster NHK reported.

Mr. Abe seemed to be bleeding after the incident and was transferred to a hospital, the report stated. He seemed to be in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest, the report stated, indicating his life could also be at risk.
