North Korea Ridicules South Korea’s Move to Improve Ties as ‘Absurd Dream’

SEOUL—South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol sought to shake up frothy inter-Korean ties on Monday with what he referred to as an “audacious plan.” He provided meals support and financial help that might modernize North Korea’s airports and hospitals—provided that Pyongyang showed some commitment to denuclearize.

By the top of the week, North Korea gave its reply: “We don’t like Yoon Suk-yeol himself.”
