The International Air Transport Association (IATA) introduced the launch of the IATA Safety Leadership Charter on the IATA World Safety and Operations Conference going down in Hanoi, Vietnam. Safety leaders from greater than 20 airways are the first signatories:

The Safety Leadership Charter is aimed toward strengthening organizational security tradition via dedication to eight key security management guiding rules. It was developed in session with IATA members and the broader aviation group to help business executives in evolving a optimistic security tradition inside their organizations.
