Air New Zealand has appointed Kiri Hannifin to the newly created position of Chief Sustainability Officer, an govt place recognising the significance of sustainability throughout all elements of the airline’s operations and elevated concentrate on addressing its environmental impression.

Hannifin is the Director of Corporate Affairs, Quality, Health & Safety and Sustainability at Countdown. Air New Zealand Chief Executive Officer Greg Foran says sustainability is the most important challenge going through the airline’s future and requires elevated focus from a frontrunner who might be a passionate public advocate for the modifications all stakeholders must make to ship actual change.
