The Department of Defense lately launched the memorandum for the Consolidated Department of Defense Coronavirus Disease 2019 Force Health Protection (FHP) Guidance – Revision 1, which amends sections 7.4 and seven.5 to align the DoD journey testing requirement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “Rescinding Requirement for Negative Pre­Departure COVID-19 Test Result or Documentation of Recovery from COVID-19 for all Airline or Other Aircraft Passengers Arriving into the United States from Any Foreign Country,” efficient June 12, 2022.

Specifically, the modifications:

  • Remove pre-travel viral testing necessities for Service members, DoD relations, DoD civilian staff, and DoD contractor personnel;
  • Remove further steerage regarding journey testing necessities, together with exceptions from these necessities; and
  • Incorporate suggestions relating to pre-travel testing for all vacationers arriving within the United States by way of or from a overseas nation.
