The British Fashion Council (BFC) has named Nicholas Daley, founding father of Nicholas Daley, because the winner of the 2022 BFC/GQ designer fashion fund. Daley will obtain a 12-month bespoke high-level enterprise mentoring programme, pro-bono authorized providers from Sheridans and a £150,000 money prize. The BFC/GQ designer fashion fund is a part of the BFC Foundation.
This 12 months’s shortlist included clothsurgeon, LYPH and Olubiyi Thomas who all had the chance to take part in a mentoring programme by the BFC’s designer initiatives group, with entry to funders, business specialists, and pro-bono authorized providers from Sheridans. The BFC/GQ designer fashion fund is a part of the BFC basis which helps the longer term development and success of the British fashion business by specializing in three areas: schooling, grant-giving and enterprise mentoring and institute of constructive fashion.
