Solange Knowles Composing New Music For New York City Ballet


Solange Knowles has introduced her subsequent musical venture — a collaboration with the New York City Ballet. The artist has written an authentic rating for a piece by choreographer Gianna Reisen, which is able to premiere on the annual Fall Fashion Gala at Lincoln Center on Sept. 28. The piece may also be carried out in October and May, per The New York Times. Knowles is the primary Black girl and the second girl of coloration to compose a rating for the 70-year-old firm.
