Nexstar to Buy Majority Control of CW Network

Nexstar Media Group Inc. agreed to purchase majority management of the CW Network and mentioned it might overhaul the programming of the youth-centric broadcast community to cater to an older viewers.

Under the phrases of the deal, which was introduced Monday, Nexstar will take a 75% stake within the CW, with earlier co-owners Paramount Global and Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. every retaining 12.5% stakes.
