GE CEO Larry Culp to Run Aviation Business, Too

General Electric Co. mentioned Larry Culp is instantly taking on the reins of the corporate’s jet-engine enterprise, giving the CEO direct oversight of the only real division that may stay after the manufacturer’s breakup is full in 2024.

Mr. Culp stays chairman and CEO of Boston-based GE, and is taking over the extra function of chief govt of GE Aviation. John Slattery, who was CEO of GE Aviation for lower than two years, will function chief business officer of the enterprise. The change comes the identical week that GE closes out its second quarter.
