Americans Tap Pandemic Savings to Cope With Inflation

Americans are beginning to dip into the massive pile of financial savings they collected over the primary two years of the pandemic.

From the beginning of the pandemic to the top of 2021, U.S. households constructed up $2.7 trillion in extra savings, in accordance to Moody’s Analytics. Covid-19 lockdowns stored individuals at residence with nowhere to spend cash, and three rounds of stimulus funds boosted their incomes.
